.It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dan Carson Watkins of Richmond, Missouri, who passed away on November 10, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. 

Dan Carson Watkins, 64, passed away on November 10, 2020 at his home in Richmond, Missouri.


He was born on November 30,1955 to Hurshel and Alice (Wright) Watkins.


Dan graduated from Braymer High School in 1973. He retired from the Missouri Department of Transportation in 2010.


Dan married his wife, Kathy on December 5, 1992 and together they created a loving family of 6 children.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Hurshel Watkins and Alice Watkins (Wright); and his brothers, Hurshel Duane, James Wesley and Tom.


He is survived by : his wife Kathy; his children, Dan II (Christian) of Cowgill, Jennifer (Chris) of St Louis, Paul Staley (Kim) of Richmond, Samantha (Jason) of Tucson, Ariz., Jessica Staley (Phillip Corwin) of Richmond and Levi Staley (Laura Reed) of Richmond; and his brother Brian Watkins (Marla) of Excelsior Springs. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren who adored their Papa.
